".A song for India " poem written by Sibin P Sunny

Within the chest, a volcano wakes to roar,

A fire ignited fir the soil I adore.

Let the galaxies shatter, let the heavens rend,

On this holy land , my life I shall lend.

Ever soul who stands to fight,

We breathe the ancient fire of all night

The pride and glory of her name,INDIA

Let the chariots roll, let the battles dry,

Where the death and glory under one sun lie,

Keeps her immortal soul high.

The day burnsout like fire

A nation that refuses to tire

With soft rain and blooming grace

Where the peace is being embraced.

She holds April wind's steady breath,

Like sentinel stands guard over the death.

I hear the distant wings of the free,

And the memories over me

Why eyes turn damp with dew?

For the land of my fathers and the new.

Let every sunbeam weave a song,

Where snowy Himalaya turned red and strong

For in this war, a truth is told,

Death is the nectar for the bold.

I shall hold the dream close,

Beneath the saffron sky.

A song for my country,

That shall never die.
