INTERVIEWING ARCHITA KUMAR (BY DEBADRITA SARKAR)
Debadrita : When have you started writting ?
Archita : I started writing at a young age, but I became serious about it during my teenage years. Over time, writing transformed from a simple hobby into a deep form of self-expression and emotional release for me.
Debadrita : What is your genre and why ?
Archita : I primarily write in the genres of dark romance, poetry, and emotional fiction. I am drawn to intense, raw emotions and complex human relationships, and I enjoy exploring themes like love, heartbreak, obsession, healing, and identity.
Debadrita : What inspired you to write the poem ?
Archita : The poem was inspired by personal emotions and the silent battles that people often carry within themselves. I believe poetry allows feelings to exist without judgment, and I wanted to capture the beauty and pain that coexist in human experiences.
Debadrita : What is the hardest part when write this poem ?
Archita : The hardest part was putting deeply personal emotions into words without losing their authenticity. It is always challenging to balance vulnerability and expression while making the poem relatable to others.
Debadrita : What are your advices to the young writers ?
Archita : My advice to young writers is to write fearlessly and honestly. Do not try to fit into trends—find your voice and trust it. Read widely, stay consistent, and most importantly, write what you feel, not what you think others want to read.
Debadrita : Who is your favourite writer and what is your favourite story of poem or short story or novel?
Archita : One of my favourite writers is Sylvia Plath because of her raw and emotional writing style. My favourite work of hers is The Bell Jar, as it beautifully captures inner turmoil and emotional depth.
Debadrita : What is your hobby ?
Archita : My hobbies include reading, writing poetry, exploring aesthetics for storytelling, and creating narratives inspired by emotions and visuals.
Debadrita : Where are you born and where are your raised ?
Archita : I was born and raised in India, where my surroundings and cultural experiences have deeply influenced my writing style and themes.
Debadrita: do you do except writting ?
Archita : Apart from writing, I work as a content writer and have a background in digital marketing. I also have an academic interest in nutrition and psychiatric studies.
Debadrita : Any comments !
Archita : I truly appreciate this opportunity to share my work and voice on your platform. Initiatives like this encourage emerging writers to express themselves freely and connect with a wider audience. Thank you for supporting creativity and giving writers a space to be seen and heard.
